We are looking for a health economist to join our team. Would you like to contribute to infectious disease control policy making in the Netherlands and launch your career as a health economist in an environment with a high social impact, we are looking for you.

What are you going to do
Great news for you, we already have a seasoned health economist in our team. You will get the opportunity to work together with him, learn and accelerate your knowledge, and career. Your role is to help assess the burden of disease of infectious diseases in the Netherlands, to measure the possible gain in the quality of life of new vaccines, and to weigh these against the costs of vaccination.

Your responsibilities include:

  • conceptualizing and developing cost-effectiveness models for preventive interventions against infectious diseases such as vaccination and/or screening;
  • applying statistical methods for health economic research;
  • handling and analyzing large data sets;
  • conducting literature reviews;
