The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is looking for two independent, motivated and ambitious interns for the period March 2026 to August 2026 (other start/end dates negotiable) to support the programmes of the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Team (YEET).
Orange Corners is one of the programmes run by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the main programme implemented by YEET. Orange Corners aims to stimulate employment and entrepreneurship for young people in Africa and the Middle East. We do this, for example, by setting up training programmes (incubation and acceleration) for young entrepreneurs in these areas and offering financing opportunities through the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF). In this way, Orange Corners provides access to a working environment with training, coaching, access to (start-up) capital and access to a relevant network of various private partners and knowledge institutions. In addition, Orange Corners supports the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem by addressing barriers for young entrepreneurs. For example, by supporting governments in implementing favourable policies for entrepreneurs, organising innovative challenges or hackathons, working on entrepreneurship education with and for knowledge institutions, or helping to set up or strengthen Business Angel Networks. We actively collaborate with our Dutch embassies, which are strongly involved in these efforts. Our programmes are currently active in more than 20 countries with Orange Corners hubs.
The YEET team is seeking two enthusiastic interns. As an intern, you will actively contribute to sustaining the programme and strengthening ecosystems in the target countries. You will be part of an ambitious, young team that offers plenty of room for your ideas and initiatives, allowing you to truly develop yourself. We offer a dynamic range of tasks with plenty of room for your own input and matchmaking by the internship supervisor. You will switch between project management, strategy, implementation and research. For example, you will conduct research into the local business climate and report on relevant developments in the field of entrepreneurship among young people. You will liaise with embassies where the programmes are being rolled out and be in contact with implementers, private partners and knowledge institutions that play an essential role in our concept. You will actively contribute to the roll-out by drawing up project plans, partnership proposals and agreements, all aimed at improving the position of young entrepreneurs. The intern will also be involved in organising (mainly digital) events at home and abroad, meetings and presentations.
